When it comes to using field sobriety tests to determine if you should be arrested for a Houston or Conroe DWI, there are certain restrictions regarding the tests that may be used.
Even when these tests are used, they are not flawless – and Conroe and Houston, TX DUI attorneys can question their reliability and accuracy.
If you are pulled over for a Houston or Conroe, Texas DWI, you may be asked to perform one of the following tests:
- The walk and turn, also referred to as the head-to-toe
- The Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus
- The one leg stand
Although there is some evidence to show that these methods can be an indicator of whether or not a person was drinking, using them as a basis for a Houston or Conroe, Texas DWI arrest is questionable.
