Christian C. Samuelson

Attorney at Law

Chris Samuelson practices from the Houston/Galveston metropolitan area of Texas, where he has been defending DWI related offenses since 1997. In that time, he has trained with some of the best DWI trial attorneys in the country. He is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, and has attended both the winter and summer programs in advanced DWI defense techniques. He is also a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA), the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Chris has authored numerous articles on DUI/DWI defense-related topics, and has lectured to attorneys, judges and expert witnesses locally, nationally and internationally at a variety of legal seminars about criminal law and DWI defense strategies.

In addition, articles Chris has written have been published in TCDLA's 'The Voice' and NACDL's 'The Champion' numerous times. He is frequently called upon by the media to provide commentary on DWI related stories, and has been quoted in such publications as H-Texas Magazine, The Houston Chronicle, The Galveston Daily News, and the Wall Street Journal. He is a regular legal commentator for local and regional media outlets such as NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX. Equally as important, Chris' materials have been published and/or presented at both state and nationally attended seminars, including the intensive annual summer program presented at Harvard Law School by the National College for DUI Defense.
